What You’ll Do
- Provide professional nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient clinic/infusion environment
- Administer and monitor infusion/chemo-related treatments in accordance with facility protocols
- Assess patients, document nursing care, and monitor for reactions or changes in condition
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC (required)
- Coordinate care needs with the clinical team to support safe, efficient patient flow
- Follow infection prevention, safety standards, and medication handling procedures
- Support patient education and comfort throughout treatment visits
What You Need
Required
- RN license (state-appropriate, active)
- BLS
- Chemo certification: ONS/ONCC
- 2 years of experience as an RN in an outpatient clinic/infusion setting
- EPIC experience (documentation in EPIC required)
Preferred
- Prior experience caring for adult oncology/hematology patients
- Familiarity with infusion workflow in an outpatient setting
About the Assignment
James Outpatient Care provides an outpatient clinic setting with an infusion component, caring for adult and geriatric patients. The assignment includes 46 patient rooms and uses EPIC for documentation. This position is day shift (07:30–16:00), 5 days/week, with no weekends and no holidays.
