What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care for oncology patients with medical-surgical needs and telemetry support
- Monitor and interpret telemetry (including telemetry monitoring) and respond appropriately to changes
- Support infection prevention protocols and patient safety initiatives (including fall prevention)
- Deliver care across the cancer journey, from new diagnosis through treatment and transition to end-of-life care
- Administer and coordinate care related to antineoplastic chemotherapy encounters as applicable to unit workflows
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic charting systems (EPIC preferred/used per job order)
- Float to other med-surg oncology units as required
What You Need
Required
- RN license (state-appropriate)
- BLS
- 2+ years of experience
- Telemetry experience: telemetry interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Preferred
- ONS Chemo certification
- Oncology experience (preferred, but not required)
- EPIC experience
- Previous travel experience
