We are a 266-bed, acute-care hospital that offers 24/7 Emergency Services in Leon and Gadsden Counties including; a Pediatric ER, and an Express Care ER. Unit Description: The Emergency Department is fully equipped to handle urgent and critical emergencies,
including multiple trauma cases; cardiac, neurological and pediatric
emergencies; orthopedic injuries; obstetrical and gynecological cases; and
other emergencies. Physicians
in 20 specialties and sub-specialties readily available, residents from
throughout the region are assured access to comprehensive emergency healthcare
24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.
Position Summary: The Charge RN Emergency Services supervises nursing service activities in assigned nursing unit for the duration of the assigned shift or in the absence of nursing management.

#TalentLivesHere Qualifications Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred.
License/Certification/Skills: Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN
license required. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS certification). Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
