What You’ll Do

  • Provide patient care for inpatient plastic and reconstructive surgery cases

  • Complete patient history & physical (H&Ps) and ongoing assessments

  • Write and manage orders, including ordering medications and prescriptions

  • Interpret labs and diagnostic tests and use results to guide care

  • Perform bedside procedures as appropriate

  • Develop and maintain an appropriate plan of care and therapeutic interventions

  • Support ongoing evaluation and management of therapeutic outcomes


What You Need

Required


  • Board certification

  • Active Massachusetts (MA) state license

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience

  • Ability to independently support inpatient PA-level patient care (H&Ps, orders, interpreting diagnostics, prescribing, bedside procedures as applicable)



Preferred


  • Experience in hospital-based inpatient care for plastic and reconstructive surgery




About the Assignment

This is a hospital-based inpatient Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery assignment in Boston, caring for an adult patient population with an average daily census of approximately 10 patients. Charting is performed in Epic, and the schedule is no weekends, no holidays, and no nights, generally centered around Wed–Fri with flexibility to cover Mon/Tues when needed.
