What You’ll Do
- Provide anesthesia care in a hospital setting across a busy case mix and varied specialties
- Work within assigned OR and procedural environments, including multiple locations (including non-OR settings such as IR/EP/ENDO/MRI)
- Maintain patient safety and deliver care using established equipment and monitoring standards (e.g., Dräger anesthesia machine; Philips monitoring)
- Be prepared to float to meet coverage needs (including Moses Cone as the main location)
- Collaborate with the anesthesia team and support consistent workflow across 20 ORs and NORA areas
- Follow department protocols and contribute to high-quality perioperative outcomes
What You Need
Required
- CRNA Board Certification
- North Carolina state license (or ability to work with licensing expectations as described)
- ACLS & PALS
- 1–2 years of CRNA experience (no new graduates)
- Ability to float as needed for coverage
Preferred
- Experience/skills in hearts/vascular, neuro, and/or pediatrics (preferred; not required for all assignments)
About the Assignment
This is a full-time CRNA contract assignment supporting a large hospital anesthesia program in Greensboro, North Carolina. The role includes coverage needs across multiple ORs (general, ortho, gyn, ENT/eyes, vascular, thoracic, heart, neuro, trauma) and NORA locations (IR, EP, ENDO, MRI), with EPIC used for EMR and Dräger/Philips equipment in the anesthesia workflow.
Important Schedule Notes: Providers must be flexible and cannot work consecutive days. Monday & Friday shifts are high priority.
Licensure Note: Candidates must be able to work with compact license expectations as described. Credentialing timeframe is 60–90 days.
