hospital is seeking a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon to provide call coverage in our ASC verified Level III Trauma Facility. A Surgeon skilled in specifically Total Joints as well as general ortho would complement our well established, reputable practice. Hospital is looking for one Orthopaedic Surgeon to cover Emergency Department call as needed on a rotating basis. When on call, the Surgeon will only have to come in if the Emergency Department requests a consult. Typically bread and butter cases, sick or complicated patients are shipped.
Assignment Details: • Types of cases include fractures, sports, general, etc.
• No Spine
• Must be able to do Total Joints and/or specialize in Total Joints **
• Efficient, flexible OR with block time assignments
• The General Surgeons manage the wound care clinic
• Orthopaedic PA's, full surgical staff
• Completely digital radiology department Number Of Patients Per Shift: Varies
Minimum Board Certification:BE
