Schedule: Hospital is in need of Peds Hospitalist starting January 2023. This role involves assessing new nursery babies and pediatric floor patients. No NICU cover required. Board Certification required. Active MO license required.
At MHJ, they would start on a Monday and then work until the next Sunday (7 days). They would round on what newborns they have in the nursery each morning (typically ~3 newborns on average) and then remain on call the remainder of the day for any newborn resuscitation (C-sections, preemies, other OB requests). The actual time in the hospital seeing newborns is probably 1-2 hours and the remainder of the 24 hours would be on-call.
Shifts: 7:00am - 7:00pm
Prefer locum with availability to cover 10-15 shifts per month
Covid and current flu vaccines required.
