  JOB REQUIREMENTS
  

  

    
• Board: Board Certified required

    
• Licenses: Licensed in NC

    
• DEA: Active NC DEA required

    
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, ABLS

    
• Other Qualifications: Must be vaccinated; credentialed with Medicaid/Medicare and enrolled in PECOS; must reside within 20 minutes of facility while on call; provide NPI with bid

  

  Duties & Responsibilities
  

  

    
• Provide 24-hour call coverage for orthopedic surgery services

    
• Respond to ED consults, closed reductions, and admissions (0-3 consults, 0-2 ED visits per day)

    
• Perform surgical procedures including wrist, ankle, and hip fractures and I&D (0-2 surgeries per day)

    
• Stabilize and transfer long bone trauma cases

    
• Maintain timely on-call response within 20 minutes of hospital
