JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: Board Certified
  
• Licenses: Licensed in MI or Universal License (IMLC); Active MI Controlled Substance License
  
• DEA: Active MI DEA required
  
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  
• Other Qualifications: Must be within 20 minutes of facility; Onsite orientation required 1 day prior; MediTech experience preferred
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide night call coverage for the inpatient hospitalist service
  
• Respond to calls and admissions within 20 minutes
  
• Manage an average census of 15 patients with 2 admissions per night
  
• Conduct inpatient rounding as needed during night shifts
  
• Perform necessary procedures including intubation, central line placement, chest tube placement, and ventilator management
