JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified OBGYN preferred; truly Board Eligible acceptable
- Licenses: Active WA license preferred; IMLC considered if in hand (Universal License (IMLC))
- DEA: Active DEA certification
- Certifications: BLS
- Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice/background, no pending cases; local provider (no flights) highly preferred; Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology services at the hospital.
- Manage labor and delivery patients, including vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
- Assist Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and Family Practice OB physicians (FPOBs) in patient care.
- Provide gynecology coverage for emergency department consults and necessary gynecologic surgeries.
- Conduct triage of obstetric patients in collaboration with labor and delivery registered nurses.
