What You’ll Do
- Provide non-invasive cardiology services in an outpatient setting
- Perform and interpret echocardiography and electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Deliver high-quality patient care with a focus on diagnostic cardiology services
- Maintain continuity of care within a well-supported clinical environment
- Collaborate with the clinical team, including 2 APRNs
- Support a workflow that maintains clinic efficiency (average ~16 clinic patients/day)
- Use Cerner for clinical documentation (per assignment requirements)
What You Need
Required
- Physician (MD) with experience in cardiology
- Ability to obtain/hold the appropriate state licensure for Vermont (providers needing to obtain a state license will be considered)
- Experience performing echocardiography and EKG services
Preferred
- Experience in an outpatient cardiology practice setting
- Comfort working in a collaborative group model using shared support staff
About the Assignment
This locum-to-perm Cardiology (Non-Invasive) position is based at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital in Brattleboro, Vermont. The role supports an adult outpatient cardiology practice with no call requirements, as coverage is needed due to an MD retirement in October 2026. The team will collaborate closely with 2 APRNs, and there is support for diagnostics (local assistance for ECHO/EKG reads), helping you focus on delivering continuity of care in a supported environment.
