What You’ll Do
- Float within a Critical Care Float Pool, supporting multiple ICU units based on staffing and patient acuity
- Provide care across ICUs including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and SICU/MICU/NCCU
- Follow the float policy by floating to units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Support care delivery requiring IV starts and telemetry
- Manage patients requiring ventilator care (ventilator management experience required)
- Document and coordinate care using EPIC
- Support weekend Day shift needs as they arise (as part of float pool coverage)
What You Need
Required
- RN license: Not specified in the job order (must be held to practice as an RN)
- 2+ years of ICU experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- EPIC proficiency
- IV start capability
- Telemetry experience
- Ventilator management experience
Preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience
