What You’ll Do

  • Act as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and applicable standards.

  • Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members to support safe, high-quality care.

  • Assume accountability for quality patient outcomes and participate in activities aligned with unit/department goals.

  • Support professional responsibility and accountability for your own practice.

  • Provide culturally responsive care with sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity.

  • Communicate and manage nursing team resources appropriately as part of an interdisciplinary team.

  • Use data and clinical judgment to evaluate and promote improvements in patient outcomes.

  • Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and care teams.




What You Need

Required


  • Current RN (Registered Nurse) license in state of practice

  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)

  • CPI certification (12 month) from the Crisis Prevention Institute (12-month certification requirement)

  • 2+ years of RN experience

  • Proficiency with computers, software, and web-based applications

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills



Preferred


  • Certification in a relevant clinical specialty area

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
