What You’ll Do
- Start and manage IVs and administer medications safely
- Monitor vital signs and document patient responses to treatments
- Provide patient education on therapies, care plans, and self-care
- Collaborate with the care team to support individualized patient plans
- Chart accurately using EPIC EMR
- Maintain patient safety and follow hospital/unit policies
- Float as needed to lower acuity units (if required)
What You Need
Required
- Active Ohio RN license
- 2+ years of clinical nursing experience
- BCLS
- IV certification
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
Preferred
- EPIC EMR experience
- Travel experience
About the Assignment
Join a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) night team delivering attentive, safety-focused nursing care. You’ll work a 3x12-hour night shift, provide medication and IV therapy, monitor patient status closely, and partner with the broader care team while documenting in EPIC.
