Medix is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner to provide vital clinical services to our nation's veterans. In this role, you will perform high-quality disability and compensation examinations, helping veterans seek benefits for service-connected health issues. This position features an embedded clinic location with no evening or weekend requirements. Essential Responsibilities:
• Reviewing veteran medical history, including abstracts that highlight portions applicable to claims.
• Performing targeted physical evaluations for veterans and ensuring all charts are submitted within 24 hours.
• Ordering and interpreting necessary labs and ancillary diagnostic services based on physical exams.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary medical team to provide clear medical opinion decisions based on clinical findings and veteran claims.
