Locum Physician OB/GYN Red Bluff, CA (24-Hour ED Call Coverage)
St. Elizabeth Community Hospital is seeking OB/GYN coverage for 24-hour ED call with full-scope inpatient OB/GYN responsibilities. Pay & Benefits
- Pay package: Malpractice must be included in rates
- On-Call (Daily) Flat Rate: $5000–$6000 (flat rate to include all hours)
- 24-Hour Holiday Call Rate: $7500–$9000 (flat rate to include all hours)

What You’ll Do
- Provide 24-hour OB/GYN ED call coverage with full-scope responsibilities
- Manage obstetric care including deliveries (vaginal and C-section)
- Support gynecological surgeries as required by the ED/inpatient needs
- Remain available with 20-minute response time (physicians do not need to remain in-house)
- Handle OB/GYN ED call including callbacks as needed (average callback time 5–7 hours)
- Use Cerner for documentation and coordination of care
- Work alongside dedicated MA and practice manager support (no clinic/office patients)
What You Need
Required
- Board-certified/eligible OB/GYN practice experience capable of full-scope OB/GYN
- Ability to complete application within 3 days of confirmation
- Credentialing for active hospital privileges (30–60 days timeframe)
- Must be able to meet coverage dates below (ability to do all required dates to be cleared)
Preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner is helpful
- Travel planning flexibility (local travel preferred but not required)

- August 29–September 7
