Locum Physician – Interventional Cardiology | Roseburg, OR
Mercy Health–Shaw Heart & Vascular Care is seeking Interventional Cardiology support for upcoming dates in Roseburg, OR. - Orientation: $255–$262.50 (half the hourly/callback rate; kicks in after 8 hours)
- On Call (Daily): $4600–$4800 per 24 hours (includes 8 hours gratis)
- 24 Hour Holiday Call Rate: $6900–$7200 per 24 hours (includes 8 hours gratis)
- Call Back: $510–$525 per hour of patient contact hours (after gratis hours; gratis prorate to terms)
- Holiday Call Back: $765–$787.50 per holiday hour of patient contact hours (after gratis hours; gratis prorate to terms)
What You’ll Do
- Provide interventional cardiology coverage including STEMI coverage during call periods
- Perform PCIs and diagnostic coronary angiography (as applicable to diagnostic caths)
- Cover right/left heart catheterizations and interpret echo/stress studies as needed
- Manage patients inpatient/outpatient settings with collaboration across cardiology services
- Coordinate care with support staff and anesthesia support (as needed for inpatient cases)
- Follow your assigned patient coverage approach until sign-off per facility workflow
What You Need
Required
- Active OR physician license
- Clean malpractice record (malpractice required to be included in rates)
- Demonstrated capability to perform interventional procedures including:
- PCI/diagnostic caths
- Right/left heart catheterizations
- Ability to cover STEMI cases and provide required procedural support
Preferred
- Comfort covering a mix of inpatient/outpatient cardiology volume and STEMI response in a locum setting
- Prior experience in EMR workflows (facility uses Meditech)
About the Assignment
Mercy Health–Shaw Heart & Vascular Care (Roseburg, OR) is looking for Interventional Cardiology locum coverage across July 9–12 (possible extension), August 10–17, and September (dates pending).
