Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in California, starting Jul 6, 2026. This role involves working ALL NIGHT Shifts from 4PM - 2AM, independently managing a variety of low acuity ER cases. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients presenting with conditions such as chest pain, abdominal pain, pelvic exams, lacerations, and headaches.
Responsibilities and Duties - Working independent of Physician supervision
- Treating low acuity ER patients in a fast track UC to ER role, including cases of chest pain, undifferentiated abdominal pain, pelvic exams, occasional vertical 3 patients, lacerations, eye exams using slit lamps, and headaches
- Authorizing technicians to perform splints
