Description
Our client in New York is seeking a dedicated Neonatologist for a 34-day assignment starting Sep 7, 2026. This role involves inpatient night shifts within a NICU, managing complex NICU cases, and performing procedures such as UVC/UAC placements, airway management, lumbar punctures, neonatal resuscitation, and patient stabilizations. The Physician will be the primary MD on night shifts, collaborating with a team of three APPs and one fellow.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide primary medical care during inpatient night shifts in a NICU.
- Manage NICU cases and conduct patient follow-ups.
- Perform UVC and UAC placements, airway management, and lumbar punctures.
- Execute neonatal resuscitation and patient stabilizations.
- Collaborate with three APPs, one fellow, and nursing staff.
