Family Medicine Physician
StartDate: ASAP
Pay Rate: $139.68 - $151.20
This facility is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
Schedule: Outpatient clinic only, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; flexible as 4x10 or 5x8 if approved. One day per week in Pediatrics.
Patients per Day: 22
Practice Setting: Outpatient family medicine clinic
Scope: Primary care, preventive care, chronic disease management, acute visits, pediatric acute care and sports physicals, controlled substance management, optional minor procedures
State Licensure: Maine license required; willing to license
Responsibility for Advanced Practitioners: Yes, supervision may be required
Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days; temporary privileges available
Facility Location
Presque Isle is the largest town in Maine’s northernmost county and the starting point for the world’s largest scale model of the solar system. The Double Eagle II in 1978, a hot air balloon took off from Presque Ile and landed roughly 137 hours later in Misery, France, making it the first hot air balloon to cross the Atlantic.
