Description

We are seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for an engaging 120-day assignment in New Mexico, starting Sep 14, 2026. This role involves a blend of clinic hours, weekday ward coverage, and weeknight and weekend on-call duties, encompassing outpatient, inpatient, operative, and emergent OB/GYN care, along with surgical cases, consultations, and labor and delivery coverage.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide outpatient, inpatient, operative, and emergent OB/GYN care.
  • Perform OR surgical cases and procedures across any area of the facility as needed.
  • Consult with surgical and OB/GYN staff on patient care matters.
  • Cover Labor & Delivery, including consults and admissions from the ED and outpatient clinics.
  • Provide on-call coverage per schedule, including weeknights and weekends.
  • Respond to urgent on-call situations, reaching patient bedside within 15 minutes.
  • Manage clinic hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 0800–1630; Wednesday 0800–1230.
  • Handle weekday ward coverage from 0745–1630.
  • Cover weeknight call from 1630–0745.
  • Cover weekend call from Friday 1630 through Monday 0745.
  • Maintain approximately 40–60 hours per week, totaling 1,040 hours per physician per 6-month period.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
  • EMR System: RPMS.
