Open dates:

July:

• July 20: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• July 25: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• July 26: Shift TBD

August (primarily night shifts):

• August 10
• August 16
• August 17
• August 24
• August 29
• August 31

September:

• Approximately 8 shifts anticipated (primarily nights)

Schedule

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Facility Details:

• Annual ED Volume: ~13,800 visits
• Average Daily Volume: 32–50 patients
• ED Beds: 10
• Trauma Level: IV

Support Staff:

• One APP onsite daily from 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Respond to hospital codes as needed
• Interpret EKGs (final reads provided by cardiology)
• Admission orders managed by admitting physicians
• Stabilize OB patients prior to transfer

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) – Required
• Active Michigan medical license at time of name clear
  • IMLC or Compact licenses are not accepted at this time
• ACLS & ATLS certifications – Required
