Position Overview

Provide emergency medicine coverage for a community hospital emergency department.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergency patients across a broad acuity range.

Document care in the EMR (Epic).

Support safe handoffs at shift change.

Required Qualifications

Board certified Emergency Medicine physician.

Minimum 2 years emergency medicine experience.

BLS, ACLS, and ATLS (AHA).

IM or FM physicians with emergency experience may be considered.

Additional Details

Orientation: provider should plan to arrive the day before the first shift for orientation.

Emergency department size: 15 total beds.
