Position Overview

Hospitalist coverage in an acute care hospital setting

EMR: Epic

Work Details

Hospital beds: about 300

ICU beds: about 18

Day coverage model includes physicians plus NPs and PAs

Night coverage model includes one physician

Required Qualifications

MD or DO

Active Tennessee medical license

DEA with Tennessee address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, 5

Board certification accepted: ABIM, ABFM, ABEM, or AOBEM

ACLS

Case logs for the past 2 years

Credentialing and Onboarding

Estimated credentialing timeframe: 61 to 90 days

Immunization and TB documentation

Mask fitting

Travel and Lodging
