What You’ll Do
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and rehabilitative therapies for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized care plans following regulatory standards
- Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed
- Provide counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers
- Collaborate closely with healthcare team members and document all services accurately
- Participate in meetings and ongoing training to ensure quality care and compliance
- Supervise and support CFY or student SLPs during their clinical practice
What You Need
- Required:
- Active ASHA and State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- At least 1 year of experience in LTC or similar setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Preferred:
- Experience supervising CFYs or students
- Knowledge of current clinical practices and regulatory requirements
