- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a medical/surgical or oncology setting preferred

What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients with a variety of diagnoses, including solid tumors and blood cancers
- Monitor patient vital signs and manage acute symptoms using telemetry and other equipment
- Administer chemotherapy, IV medications, and manage patient comfort and safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient progress accurately and thoroughly
- Support infection prevention protocols and fall prevention measures
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
What You Need:
- Valid OH state RN license or willing to obtain
- BCLS certification required
- 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in Med Surg or Oncology (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
About the Assignment:
This role is based in a reputable Columbus hospital's mixed acuity PCU/MS Tele unit caring for adult oncology patients. The unit offers a supportive setting with an emphasis on infection control and patient safety. The schedule allows for self-scheduling requests, with an orientation period to acclimate you to the unit's protocols and procedures.
