What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality care to diverse patient populations in the ER, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Manage telemetry and dysrhythmia care, including cardiac monitoring and vasoactive drips
- Administer IV insulin, heparin, blood products, and other medications following protocols
- Assist with renal failure management and airway support (CPAP, BIPAP, oxygen)
- Perform wound care, including wound vac management and non-invasive airway management
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations and utilize rapid response team protocols
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC documentation system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes
What You Need
Required:
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications
- At least 2 years of ER nursing experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong skills in telemetry, dysrhythmia management, IV infusions, airway management, and wound care
Preferred:
- Experience in pediatrics, stepdown units, or renal and cardiac care
- Familiarity with EPIC documentation system
