What You’ll Do
- Support clinical interventions using evidence-based practice
- Provide skilled, rehabilitative, and medically necessary treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision
- Administer procedures like manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices
- Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Physical Therapist to update treatment plans
- Report treatment outcomes and provide patient and caregiver counseling
- Document all care according to regulatory and clinical standards in electronic health records
- Participate in team meetings, care conferences, and training sessions
- Support and supervise students under Physical Therapist guidance
- Adhere to American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) guidelines and state practice acts
What You Need
- Required: Active State Licensure in Missouri (MO)
- Experience in long-term care or similar setting preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow clinical instructions and documentation standards
