Our client in Pennsylvania is actively seeking a qualified Anesthetist for a 90-day locum tenens assignment, commencing on Aug 24, 2026. This role requires coverage of all surgeries in a dynamic OR setting, operating under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. The schedule offers flexibility with options for 5-8-hour or 4-10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, ensuring comprehensive patient care across various complex cases.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work in a supervised capacity alongside an anesthesiologist.
  • Cover all surgeries within a busy OR environment.
  • Manage a diverse caseload including complete orthopedic, complex vascular, head/spine, neuro, pediatric, regional, and thoracic cases.
  • Provide anesthesia for both inpatient and outpatient settings, across all age groups.
  • Utilize skills in general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia.
  • Perform specialty procedures such as central and arterial line placement, and ventilation management.
  • Collaborate with support staff, including Anesthesia Techs and SCAs.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification required: National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • EMR System: Epic.
  • Facility is a Trauma Center.
  • Credentialing timeframe is 90 days; temporary privileges are not available.
