What You’ll Do
- Assess patient care needs, develop, and review individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
- Provide nursing care and medication management for inpatient behavioral health patients
- Monitor patient safety, report concerns, and document all assessments and interventions accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure holistic, patient-centered care
- Support milieu management and patient education, including discharge planning
- Lead or participate in team activities, potentially serving as charge nurse
- Uphold safety and quality standards across clinical settings, promoting a trauma-informed, recovery-focused environment
What You Need
- Active RN license in Michigan (or eligible)
- Preferred minimum of 1 year of behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to assess, prioritize, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Commitment to professional excellence, diversity, and inclusion
