JOB OVERVIEW - Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

PATIENT INFORMATION - Patient Demographics: Pediatrics to geriatrics (all ages)
- Average Daily Volume: Approximately 50 surgical cases
- Case Mix: General surgery, neurosurgery, spinal anesthesia
FACILITY INFORMATION - Trauma Level: Level II
- EMR System: Epic
- Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesiologists, surgical teams
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE - Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Credentialing Timeline: 90-120 days
REQUIRED PROCEDURES - Administration of anesthesia for general surgical procedures (adult and pediatric)
- Anesthesia for neurosurgical cases
- Spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia
- Airway management, including intubation
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: Board Certified CRNA
- Licenses: Active Michigan license
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NBCRNA
- Experience: Minimum 1 year CRNA experience
- Other Qualifications: Clean background; Self-Query NPDB within one month; No employment gaps; Must have availability for either Monday or Friday each week; Minimum 32 hours per week
Duties & Responsibilities - Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures spanning adult and pediatric patients
- Provide anesthesia for neurosurgical cases, including managing neurological status pre- and post-procedure
- Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required
- Manage ventilation, monitor respiratory status, and respond to airway emergencies including intubation
- Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative team environment
