REQUIRED PROCEDURES
- Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
- Cardiac anesthesia for open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart cases
- General OR anesthesia as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified in Cardiac Anesthesia and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
- Licenses: Active Nebraska license or Universal License (IMLC) highly preferred; will consider candidates needing to obtain license
- Certifications: TEE Certification (Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography, NBE testamur status)
- Experience: Fellowship in CV Anesthesia with TEE certification, or minimum 5 years documented CV Anesthesia experience with TEE certification
- Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice and background history; Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation; Must be available for specified dates
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide cardiac anesthesia for open heart, thoracic, vascular, and structural heart surgeries
- Perform transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) as needed
- Cover general OR anesthesia cases when required
- Participate in unrestricted overnight and weekend call rotation
- Supervise CRNAs occasionally
