Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: 7-day coverage blocks every other month; 24-hour shifts from 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM (8 AM-5 PM in-house); flat 24-hour all-inclusive rate
• Job Setting: Inpatient and outpatient; collaborative practice environment with inpatient consultative services, outpatient clinic responsibilities, and call coverage
• Types of Cases:
  • Inpatient cardiology consults and rounding
  • Outpatient cardiology clinic coverage
  • Interpretation of stress tests
  • Echocardiogram reading and interpretation
  • Management of general cardiology patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Average inpatient census: 15 patients per day
  • Average clinic volume: 8-10 patients per day
• Credentialing: Active Illinois License or IMLC eligibility accepted

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Licensure: Active Illinois License or IMLC eligibility accepted
