Momentum Healthcare Staffing (Momentum HCS) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist (Light IR) for an exciting Locum Tenens opportunity with a well-established community hospital in Georgia. This position offers a predictable weekday schedule, no call responsibilities, and the flexibility to work as either an Independent Contractor or Employed Locum Provider, based on the candidate's preference.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an Interventional Radiologist seeking a balanced locum assignment with excellent clinical support, a collegial practice environment, and the opportunity to perform routine image-guided procedures without the demands of a high-volume tertiary care center.

Position Overview
As a Locum Interventional Radiologist placed through Momentum HCS, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by performing routine interventional radiology procedures and interpreting diagnostic imaging to support patient management. You will collaborate with referring physicians, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to ensure exceptional patient care and seamless clinical operations.

Location: Georgia
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No call responsibilities
No weekend clinic responsibilities
Employment Options
Independent Contractor
Employed Locum Provider (based on candidate preference)

Key Responsibilities
Perform light interventional radiology procedures, including:
PICC line placements
Port placements and removals
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Image-guided biopsies
Drain placements and exchanges
Other routine image-guided procedures within the scope of Light Interventional Radiology
Interpret diagnostic imaging studies as needed to support patient care.
Collaborate with referring physicians, nursing staff, and hospital leadership.
Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive medical documentation.
Adhere to hospital policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology preferred but not required for physicians experienced in Light IR procedures.
Active Georgia medical license or the ability to obtain one.
Current DEA registration.
Eligible for hospital credentialing.
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
