Skills

- Independent Licensure: Minimum of two (2) years post-independent licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or LPC in California
- Clinical Experience: Direct experience providing therapy, assessments, and crisis intervention
- Trauma-Informed Care: Knowledge and application of trauma-informed treatment methods, particularly with at-risk youth
- Youth and Family Counseling: Experience working with unaccompanied minors, foster care, or other vulnerable populations
- Crisis Management: Ability to respond to urgent mental health situations and provide de-escalation strategies
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Experience working in team settings with case managers, medical professionals, and facility staff
- Cultural Competency: Understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds and their impact on mental health care
- Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with federal and state mental health regulations and ethical standards
- Bilingual Proficiency (Preferred): Spanish fluency is a plus but not required
- Documentation and Reporting: Proficiency in maintaining accurate clinical records and progress reports
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, and team members
