A respected outpatient primary care practice in Georgia is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician for a long-term locum tenens assignment. The provider will begin coverage at one outpatient clinic location in August and transition to a second clinic location in September. This is a fully outpatient opportunity with no call, admissions, inpatient responsibilities, or hospital privileges required. 

Position Highlights

•  Outpatient Family Medicine only

•  Monday–Friday schedule

•  No call responsibilities

•  No inpatient duties

•  No hospital privileges required

•  Epic EMR

•  Supportive clinical team including RN, MA, NP/PA, and office staff

•  Long-term assignment through year-end

•  Ability to work with an established patient population

Responsibilities

•  Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services

•  Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions

•  Perform preventive care and wellness visits

•  Manage patients across the full age spectrum, including: 

o  Newborns

o  Infants

o  Children

o  Adolescents

o  Adults

o  Geriatric patients

•  Maintain accurate and timely documentation within Epic EMR

•  Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure quality patient care 

Qualifications

•  MD or DO

•  Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

•  Active Georgia medical license required

•  Current BLS certification

•  Must be comfortable seeing patients of all ages

•  Experience with Epic preferred 

Providers will be supported by:

•  1 Registered Nurse

•  2 Medical Assistants

•  1 NP/PA

•  3 Office Staff members
