Medix is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist for a travel contract assignment with our client in Spring Hill, FL. We are looking for an expert clinician dedicated to delivering compassionate, precise radiation oncology treatments to cancer patients in a dynamic clinical setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments to oncology patients accurately and safely.
* Perform daily equipment warm-ups and quality assurance checks starting at 7:30 AM.
* Review prescription, diagnosis, patient chart, and identification prior to treatment delivery.
* Maintain a steady, efficient pace to accommodate patient volume while upholding strict safety protocols.
* Provide compassionate patient care, answering treatment questions and monitoring for side effects.

Skills

REQUIREMENTS
* 3+ years of experience practicing as a Radiation Therapist.
* Valid Florida state licensure/certification for Radiation Therapy.

PREFERRED SKILLS
* Proven experience working successfully in high-volume oncology environments.
