Responsibilities:
- Assist OTR in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
- Provide direct patient care, focusing on ADLs to enhance functional independence
- Carry out and monitor patient plan and document progress and outcomes
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home health strategies
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in various settings, including acute care, skilled nursing facilities and outpatient clinics
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to support effective therapy practices
- Report regularly with experienced OTR

Skills

- 5 years (preferred)
- COTA (updated license required)
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Experience with ADLs and care plans
- Familiarity with home health, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities
- Ability to provide patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Experience working with diverse populations, including geriatrics and pediatrics
