An established hospital laboratory in Palm Springs, CA is actively seeking a Pathologists' Assistant to join its anatomic pathology department. This full-time, day-shift position offers a highly competitive hourly wage and the chance to work in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical setting with exposure to a broad range of surgical cases.

Location: On-site in Palm Springs, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday
Pay Range: $54.94 – $83.06 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

What You’ll Do:

• Perform gross dissection and description of complex surgical specimens

• Assist with frozen sections and intraoperative consultations

• Accession specimens and ensure appropriate sample handling and labeling

• Maintain documentation and digital imaging of specimens as needed

• Uphold laboratory safety, compliance, and infection control standards

• Collaborate with pathologists, histotechnologists, and other lab staff to ensure timely processing

What You’ll Need:

• Master’s degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists’ Assistant program (required)

• Certification as a Pathologists’ Assistant (ASCP PA) or eligibility

• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred (strong new grads considered)

• Strong anatomical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent documentation skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high case volume
