Momentum Healthcare Staffing (Momentum HCS) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist (Light IR) for an outstanding Locum Tenens opportunity in Northern Los Angeles, California. This position offers an exceptional work-life balance with a predictable Monday through Friday schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), no call responsibilities, and no overnight shifts.

Position Overview
As a Locum Interventional Radiologist placed through Momentum HCS, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by performing routine interventional radiology procedures and interpreting diagnostic imaging to support patient management. You will collaborate closely with referring physicians, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes and continuity of care.

Location: Northern Los Angeles, California
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No call responsibilities
No overnight shifts
No weekend clinic responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Perform light interventional radiology procedures, including:
PICC line placements
Port placements and removals
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Image-guided biopsies
Drain placements and exchanges
Other routine image-guided procedures within the scope of Light Interventional Radiology
Interpret diagnostic imaging studies as needed to support patient care.
Collaborate with referring physicians, nursing staff, and hospital leadership.
Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive medical documentation.
Adhere to hospital policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology is preferred but not required for physicians with experience performing Light IR procedures.
Active California medical license or the ability to obtain one.
Current DEA registration.
Eligible for hospital credentialing.
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
