A healthcare system in Minnesota is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative behavioral health team providing both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position.

Position Details

• Ongoing assignment
• Full-time coverage needed
• Monday–Friday clinic schedule
• Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• Weekend and evening call coverage required
• Epic EMR
• Potential long-term opportunity
• Open to IMLC Licensed Physicians

 Practice Environment

• Behavioral health setting
• 15-bed inpatient unit
• Up to 18 patient encounters per day
• Dedicated behavioral health support structure
• Services include medication management, psychotherapy, TMS, and ECT programs

Clinical Scope

Candidates should be comfortable treating:

• Anxiety disorders
• Mood disorders
• ADHD
• Personality disorders
• Eating disorders
• Developmental disorders
• Psychotic disorders
• Organic psychiatric disorders

Additional experience with involuntary commitments, seclusion protocols, and restraint utilization is beneficial

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Fellowship training is ideal
• Active BLS certification
• Eligible for hospital privileges
• Strong inpatient and outpatient psychiatry experience preferred
