Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) – Metropolitan Atlanta

Position Overview

A premier healthcare organization is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a rapidly expanding Level III NICU team at a nationally recognized medical center in metropolitan Atlanta. The program manages 1,400 to 1,500 annual admissions, providing advanced, evidence-based care in a high-volume, collaborative environment alongside neonatologists, dual-boarded specialists, and research nurses.

Key Responsibilities

Manage care for critically ill and premature newborns within a high-acuity Level III NICU and Special Care Nursery.
Deliver individualized, complex care as part of an elite multidisciplinary team.
Support newborn stabilization, initial treatment planning, and continuous intensive care management.
Work 24-hour shifts with scheduling flexibility included.

Requirements

Master’s degree or higher in Nursing (MSN).
Current APRN national specialty certification (NNP).
Neonatology training/fellowship (Strict requirement, no exemptions).
Active Georgia medical license, or willingness to obtain (Highly Preferred).
Active DEA license (Required prior to start date).
Recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days active) required for presentation.
Clear disclosure of any visa support needs (J1/H1B).
Clean malpractice and licensing history is highly preferred.
