Momentum Healthcare Staffing (Momentum HCS) is seeking a highly skilled, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional & Diagnostic Radiologist to join a progressive healthcare organization in Chickasha, Oklahoma. This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while helping expand Interventional Radiology services within a growing community hospital.

This position is offered as a part-time opportunity, with the potential to transition into a full-time role as the Interventional Radiology program continues to grow. The ideal candidate will enjoy a diverse practice that combines diagnostic radiology, image-guided interventional procedures, breast imaging, and minimally invasive treatments while working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Physicians interested in program development will have the opportunity to help establish and expand an outpatient Interventional Radiology service line.

Position Overview
As an Interventional & Diagnostic Radiologist placed through Momentum HCS, you will provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services, perform non-vascular image-guided interventional procedures, interpret breast imaging studies, and perform breast biopsy procedures. You will collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to enhance patient access to advanced imaging and minimally invasive treatments while supporting the continued growth of Interventional Radiology services.

Schedule
Preferred Employment: Part-Time, Full time available with readings.
Flexible scheduling with shared call responsibilities.
Opportunity to transition to full-time as Interventional Radiology services expand.
Full-time employment available for physicians interested in growing the Interventional Radiology program while maintaining diagnostic radiology coverage.
Opportunity to lead the development of an outpatient Interventional Radiology program.
Collaborate with hospital leadership to expand service lines, strengthen referral relationships, and improve access to advanced imaging and minimally invasive procedures.

Ideal Practice Mix
70–80% Diagnostic Radiology
20–30% Interventional Radiology and Breast Imaging Procedures

Key Responsibilities
Interventional Radiology
Perform CT-guided biopsies.
Perform ultrasound-guided biopsies.
Perform soft tissue and organ biopsies.
Perform abscess drainage procedures.
Perform fluid aspiration procedures.
Perform thoracentesis and paracentesis.
Perform nephrostomy tube placement and exchange.
Perform gastrostomy tube placement and exchange.
Perform tunneled and non-tunneled central venous catheter placement.
Perform implanted venous access port placement and removal.
Perform vertebral augmentation (kyphoplasty), if credentialed.
Perform tumor ablation and image-guided pain management procedures, if credentialed.

Breast Imaging
Interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms.
Interpret breast ultrasound and breast MRI, when available.
Perform stereotactic breast biopsy procedures.
Perform ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and cyst aspiration procedures.
Participate in MQSA quality assurance and compliance activities.

Diagnostic Imaging
Interpret CT scans.
Interpret MRI studies.
Interpret ultrasound examinations.
Perform and interpret fluoroscopy studies.
Interpret plain radiography.
Interpret bone density (DEXA) examinations.
Interpret screening mammography.
Interpret diagnostic mammography.

Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency.
Fellowship training or significant clinical experience in Interventional Radiology.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
Eligible for an unrestricted Oklahoma medical license.
Current DEA registration and ACLS certification.
Qualified under MQSA to independently interpret mammography.
Experience performing stereotactic breast biopsy procedures.
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
