Description
Our client in West Virginia is seeking a dedicated Neonatology Physician Assistant for a full-time, 42-day locum tenens assignment, commencing Nov 2, 2026. This critical role involves managing 8-10 patients daily within a children's hospital neonatal intensive care unit, including night call responsibilities. Candidates should be prepared for flexible 8 or 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities and Duties - Manage a full-time schedule with flexible availability.
- Provide care for 8-10 patients per day, including night call.
- Practice within a children's hospital setting and neonatal intensive care unit.
- Perform advanced procedures, including chest tubes, umbilical lines, and lumbar punctures.
- Manage respiratory care and perform arterial line placements.
- Conduct paracentesis and thoracentesis.
- Interpret EKGs and perform central line placements.
