Description
Referred to in regulation as the “HealthCare Practitioner Supervisor.” Responsible for the direction of all health care services firm services. Manages, supervises, coordinates, evaluates, and develops client care teams to ensure quality care delivery and appropriate case management within the Agency scope of services and policies; state, federal, and local laws; and Nurse Practice Act. Hours to be worked for this position may vary.
Skills
1. Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.
2. BSN in nursing and two years combined public health nursing and progressive professional responsibilities in public health nursing; or
3. A Registered Nurse in good standing having three years combined public health nursing and progressive professional responsibilities in public health nursing.
4. Current license in good standing as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) of practice
5. Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience in an acute hospital setting or equivalent experience with one year of supervisory experience
6. Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct clinical and administrative personnel
7. Complies with accepted professional standards and practice
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
9. Knowledge of home care federal and state regulations
10. Knowledge of reimbursement sources and documentation requirements within home care
11. Must be a licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with Agency and state requirements
12. Has current CPR certification
