Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Bridgeport, Connecticut
Join the Bridgeport school district as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In this role, you will support students' occupational therapy needs, helping them achieve their educational goals. Bridgeport, known as "The Park City," offers over 1,300 acres of public parks, historical landmarks, and cultural venues like the Barnum Museum and Klein Memorial Auditorium.
As a COTA, you will work closely with district staff to implement IEPs, assist in developing fine motor skills, and promote independence in daily activities. Recommended qualifications include a valid COTA license and experience in a school setting.

Required Qualifications
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, School

Completion of an associate’s degree or higher education
Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Connecticut

Preferred Qualifications
Clear, articulate communication skills
Ability to explain results to a varied audience
Candidates with previous school experience a plus!
Completion of a criminal record and background check
