Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for short-term hospitalist coverage. The provider will manage inpatient medical patients and provide after-hours call coverage, including calls from a nursing home.

Onsite hospital coverage: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Beeper/phone call coverage when offsite

Responsibilities
Provide inpatient hospital medicine coverage
Manage adult medical patients
Respond to nursing home calls
Provide after-hours beeper/phone call coverage
Manage patients in a one-bed ICU as needed
Practice Details
Approximately 14 patients per day
Adult patient population (approximately 50% geriatric)
Call ratio: 1:3–1:6

Active Kentucky license
ACLS
BLS
DEA
Clean malpractice, background, and license history (required for temporary privileges)
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
