Urgent Care Physician

Location: Cumming, GA

Start: ASAP

End: Dec 31, 2026

Schedule: Ongoing PRN coverage. Minimum 6 to 8 shifts per month. 8 or 12 hour shifts (8:00a to 5:00p or 8:00a to 8:00p). Provider must be willing to cover clinics within the region and travel up to 1 hour (per Order notes).

Openings: 1

Travel and Lodging: Lodging for consecutive days and mileage after 60 miles roundtrip (per Order notes)

Position Overview

Locum tenens Urgent Care coverage (per Order notes)

Solo provider model with MA support (per Order notes)

Clinical Scope

General urgent care including testing, x rays, sutures, EKG reads, and physicals (per Order notes)

Must be comfortable seeing pediatrics age 2 and up (per Order notes)

Site Details

EMR: Experity (Velocidoc) (per Order notes)

Onboarding includes EMR training and an in person shadow date (per Order notes)

Required Qualifications

Board certified Family Practice or Internal Medicine (must see pediatrics) (per Order notes)

Urgent Care experience within the past year (per Order notes)

DEA and NPDB self query (per Order notes)

Ability to read own x rays with no over read (per Order notes)
