Opportunity Highlights

Schedule: 24-hour shifts; ASAP - Ongoing

Job Setting: OB/GYN Hospitalist - on-unit hospital coverage; 23-bed department with 2 ORs for C-sections and emergencies

Patient Encounters Per Shift: 8

Types of Cases:

Low and high-risk pregnancy management
FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
OB Ultrasounds - Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic)
Amniocentesis
Routine vaginal delivery, low forceps delivery
Decision-making for C-section
Complicated deliveries: C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs
Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
Surgical gynecology: open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor (tubal ligation, LOAs, chronal tubation), and operative/major procedures (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs)

Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days

Minimum Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required (minimum Board Eligible)

Fellowship: Required

Certifications:

BLS - Required
PALS - Required

Licensure: Active Kentucky (KY), will consider IMLC

Background: Clean background required (no issues)
