Description
Hematology / Medical Oncology – Eastern North Dakota
Join an established team consisting of 4 MDs and 3 APCs, with active plans for future expansion.
Access extensive on-site specialty services including Radiation Oncology, Interventional Radiology, Genetic Counseling, and Palliative Care.
Collaborate with a comprehensive support team featuring nurse navigators, nutrition support, social work, behavioral therapists, certified cancer care physical therapists, and lymphedema specialists.
Participate regularly in Multidisciplinary Tumor Board Conferences.
Benefit from an NCI Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP) grant providing access to advanced clinical trials.
Work within a program holding Integrated Network Cancer Center Program (INCP) accreditation and NAPBC certification.
Practice in a dyad-led organization utilizing EPIC EMR with HIMSS EMRAM Level 7 certification.
Position Specifics
Manage an average daily patient load of 10-12 follow-up visits and 2-4 new patients.
Responsibilities are for consultative call only; hospitalists handle all admissions and overnight coverage.
Call schedule is approximately 8-10 days per month.
Provide regional outreach to community clinics 1 day per week or month depending on the rotation.
